Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager on-site with various activities including scheduling, attending client meetings, writing purchase orders, procuring materials, and occasionally engaging in design tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with scheduling and coordination of project timelines.
• Attend meetings with clients to ensure project objectives are met.
• Write and manage purchase orders for procurement of materials.
• Coordinate and procure necessary materials for project execution.
• Engage in minor design activities as needed.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in project management and coordination.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience in mechanical engineering and project engineering.
• Understanding of CAPEX and project timelines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with a couple of years of experience in an industrial setting.
• Interest in Construction Management graduates, though a learning curve is expected.
• Experience with AutoCAD is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with PLC/Controls is advantageous.

Work Environment

The role is based in a loud indoor manufacturing site where weekend, holiday, and plant shutdown work is expected. Employees working both days of the weekend are typically allowed to take a couple of days off during the week.
