About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Coordinator to support our Supply Chain Management (SCM) organization. This role provides essential contract operations support, manages supplier documentation, and leads contract coordination activities for complex projects across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update supplier information and process solutions.
- Track and escalate insurance certificate renewal requirements.
- Draft and process low‑risk documents including SOWs, amendments, change orders, and NDAs.
- Coordinate enterprise‑level software renewals.
- Report and coordinate with contract agents regarding expirations and upcoming renewals.
- Update contract compliance documents (e.g., back ground forms, statistical data).
- Provide ad hoc support for special projects.
- Lead contract coordination activities for complex departmental or enterprise projects.
- Serve as primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries.
- Participate in contract negotiation, drafting, and compliance monitoring.
- Assess and mitigate contract-related risks.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive contract database.
- Support contract dispute resolution.
- Mentor junior contract coordinators and support continuous improvement in contract management processes.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience in contract administration, negotiation, drafting, and compliance.
- Supply chain experience required.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and document-sharing systems (Maximo preferred).
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience mentoring junior team members.
- back ground in resolving complex contract disputes and managing high‑risk contract issues.
This is a Contract position based out of Birmingham, AL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $34.00/hr.
