Job Title: Electrical Maintenance TechnicianJob Description

A large and established heavy industrial chemical manufacturing facility is seeking highly skilled Maintenance Technicians to join their team in a clean, structured, and safety-driven production environment. The facility is equipped with advanced process systems, high-pressure equipment, and complex operational controls. We are hiring for two distinct skill sets: Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Maintenance Technicians and Mechanical Maintenance Technicians. These roles are specialized, allowing you to focus entirely on your skilled discipline.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems up to 480V.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and diagnose instrumentation including transmitters, control valves, analyzers, and PLC-controlled equipment.
  • Perform advanced electrical and control troubleshooting within a continuous-process environment.
  • Support process automation, loop checks, and system reliability improvements.
  • For Mechanical Maintenance Technicians: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and production machinery.
  • Perform mechanical rebuilds, alignments, installations, and inspections.
  • Diagnose mechanical failures in a high-volume chemical/industrial process environment.
  • Support reliability, PM, and equipment improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills
  • Strong I&E background in a chemical plant, refinery, or heavy manufacturing facility.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills with instrumentation and electrical systems.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and loop drawings.
  • Experience with industrial PLCs or DCS systems is a major plus.
  • For Mechanical Technicians: Strong mechanical troubleshooting experience in a chemical plant or other heavy industrial setting.
  • Proficiency with pump repair, rotating equipment, and mechanical drive systems.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and understand process equipment.
  • Previous chemical processing experience is a major advantage.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $44.00/hr.
