A Day In The Life
- Maintain all equipment at CMCA following the Preventive Maintenance Program.
- Work with department supervisors to ensure all areas are productive and safe.
- Maintain good housekeeping
- Maintain buildings
- Assist supervisor with directed duties.
- Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
- Must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily and meet the physical demands to successfully perform the essential function of this job. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or physical ability required. At CMC's discretion, exceptions to these can be made to accommodate individual circumstances.
- Education and/or experience - High school diploma or GED preferred. Employee must be able to perform basic reading, writing and mathematical functions. Computer knowledge and keyboard skills a plus. Electrical experience required. PLC Experience preferred.
- Language Skills - Ability to read and write. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memorandums and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with others both orally and in writing.
- Mathematical Skills - Basic mathematical skills are required. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
- Reasoning Ability - Ability to understand and carry out detailed written and oral instructions. Problem solving abilities and root cause analysis essential for success.
- Certificates, Licenses, Registration - Must possess (acquire through training) and maintain fork lift operator certification.
- Physical Requirements - The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is also required to bend, stoop and lift up to 55 pounds on a regular basis. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color, distance, peripheral and ability to adjust focus.
