User Support : Provides end user support with their desktop, laptop, printer, phone, and mobile device solutions, system configuration, and training.
Information System/MIS, Computer Science or Networking degree with three to five years' experience or advanced degree and/or superior associated technical knowledge and skills required. Application and Network Discipline experience strongly preferred. Must be customer focused.
- Solves end user inquiries that arise during day-to-day use of computer systems, phones, and mobile devices.
- Oversees software updates for all desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Installs, tests, implements and supports end-user software.
- Manages enterprise printing and imaging contracts and vendors.
- Provides Help Desk phone support to end users and coordinates and oversees end user requests for non-local IT assistance via the Helix and Watchtower ticket systems.
- Responsible for workstation asset management including:
- Weekly on-call rotation for IT support of facility is required.
