Job Description

Join our team as an Industrial Mechanic, where you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing motors and equipment. This position involves hands-on work in a specialized industry, providing you with the opportunity to enhance your skills and grow within the field.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and repair motors and industrial equipment.
• Perform mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Work with AC/DC motors, ensuring they are functioning properly.
• Utilize skills in hydraulics and pneumatics to troubleshoot and repair systems.
• Conduct welding and electrical repairs as needed.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AC/DC motor repair.
• Strong mechanical repair skills.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Work experience as a service technician.
• Experience in industrial maintenance.
• Familiarity with the pulp and paper industry.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate controlled shop environment, where you will be part of a team dedicated to maintaining industrial equipment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montgomery, AL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
