Job Title: Level 1 Cable Technician

Location: Montgomery, AL

Overview:

We are seeking an entry-level Cable Technician to join a dynamic team in the telecommunications industry. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or grow their career in structured cabling and low-voltage systems.

Responsibilities:

• Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cabling systems.
• Assist with pulling cable, labeling, and organizing pathways.
• Support senior technicians with troubleshooting and repair tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company standards.
• Follow project documentation and adhere to quality control guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of structured cabling systems and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret simple schematics or instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience in low-voltage cabling or related field is a plus.
• Familiarity with industry standards

This is a Contract position based out of Montgomery, AL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
