Position Summary...
We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Senior Manager, Operations to lead critical initiatives that drive operational excellence and support the ongoing growth and transformation of Sam's Club. In this role, you'll serve as the primary connection between the field and the home office, ensuring clubs feel supported, projects stay on track, and cross-functional teams are aligned. Your work will span across remodels, new club openings, operational pilots, and enterprise-wide transformation efforts. You will bring together operational expertise, project management discipline, and financial insight to deliver sustainable improvements that benefit both our members and associates.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

What you'll do...
- Lead the execution of high-impact operational initiatives, including remodels, new club openings, enterprise pilots, and transformation projects.
- Act as the primary point of contact (POC) for clubs, supporting field leaders with operational questions, escalations, and problem-solving.
- Orchestrate collaboration across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment, clear communication, and accountability throughout projects.
- Provide training, operational guidance, and input on new processes, tools, and apps-bridging field operations with product and program development.
- Analyze financial and operational outcomes, identifying breakpoints, uncovering disconnects, and leveraging insights to drive better execution.
- Champion continuous improvement by building strong partnerships with operators, amplifying their feedback, and ensuring their voices influence strategy.
- Support readiness for business transformations, ensuring smooth adoption of new initiatives across clubs.
- Proven experience in operations leadership and project management, preferably within retail or club operations.
- A strong operations background-firsthand understanding of how clubs run, combined with the ability to coach, teach, and support others.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to create clear reports, training, and process documentation.
- Solid financial and analytical acumen, with the ability to evaluate performance, analyze NPS results, and uncover improvement opportunities.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to bring multiple stakeholders together, align priorities, and execute complex projects.
- Adaptability to thrive in uncertain, evolving environments while maintaining focus on operational excellence.
- Willingness and ability to travel 20-30% to support initiatives, club operations, and transformation projects directly.
