Job Description
Summary:
We are seeking Travel Technicians to join our team and work at various locations across the United States. This position requires 100% travel and involves installing low-voltage wiring and equipment such as IP cameras, wireless access points, routers, switches, and more. Candidates should expect to be on the road for 2–8 months at a time.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can work effectively with a partner six days a week. Each Travel Technician will be paired with a teammate for the duration of the project.
Responsibilities:
- Pull and terminate low-voltage cable.
- Install network equipment in commercial environments.
- Follow instructions and applicable codes when pulling cable.
- Run low-voltage cabling in commercial buildings, including drilling through concrete walls and limited conduit work.
- Ensure all cables are neatly tied and bundled according to safety standards.
- Install cable support structures such as j-hooks, cable racks, and inner duct.
- Test newly installed cable systems and devices to ensure functionality.
- Troubleshoot cable network issues.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Adhere to all project safety requirements set by the client, their customers, or OSHA.

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Data Cable Technician.
- Willingness and availability for extensive nationwide travel.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Capable of lifting and carrying 50 lbs or more multiple times per shift.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces.
- Project hours: 7 PM – 7 AM, 5 days per week.
- Ability and willingness to travel to Lowell, AR for new hire orientation.
- Ability to operate a scissor lift and work at heights.
- Complete work orders and maintain tools provided by the company.
- Compliance with PPE requirements (hard hat, vest, safety glasses provided; steel-toed boots required).
- Must have personal hand tools: screwdrivers (standard and Phillips), snips, punch-down tool (impact), toner and probe, pliers, adjustable wrenches, joint pliers, and lineman pliers.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUI/DWI in the past 3 years).
Benefits:
- $125 per diem for food and lodging.
- Company vehicle provided (shared with partner).

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
