Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Superintendent to join our team in the Southwest Region. This full-time salaried position involves supporting our scope of work at a prominent semiconductor campus. The Electrical Superintendent will report to the General Superintendent and play a critical role in ensuring the successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, supervise, and mentor the workforce within your area.
- Organize field construction work through effective planning and collaboration with trade partners.
- Participate in weekly scheduling and management meetings with trade partners.
- Promote and enforce the site-specific safety plan, creating AHAs/STAs with foremen for all self-performed work and reviewing AHAs for trade partners.
- Participate in project scheduling and maintain the four-week schedule for your area to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain accurate cost and production records.
- Develop material handling and site utilization plans for your area, coordinating with project and office engineers on material needs and RFIs.
- Ensure all received materials are inspected for quantity and quality, and manage documentation with the jobsite administrator.
- Take responsibility for all quality control on the project, establishing high-level standards for both the company and trade partners.
- Coordinate the punch list process to ensure owner acceptance at project turnover.
- Foster relationships with the owner, architect, engineer, and trade partners to deliver high-quality customer service.
- Participate in project coordination meetings to maintain pre-planning engagement and scheduling.
- Assist BIM and VDC engineers in driving issue resolution to keep the submittal process on schedule.
- 5+ years of Electrical Superintendent experience supporting large commercial construction projects.
- Experience working on semiconductor or data center projects.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Prolog, Primavera, and Autodesk Suite.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in construction layout, blueprint reading, and shop drawing reading.
- A 4-year degree in construction management or related field is preferred.
- Experience working for a General Contractor is advantageous.
This position is located onsite at a semiconductor campus. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with one Saturday per month. Start and end times are to be determined. Benefits include full medical, dental, and vision coverage, a car allowance, a gas card or cell phone allowance of $75/month, 2 weeks of PTO, and 40 hours of sick time.
