Job Title: Construction Helper
Job Description
This role primarily involves labor work such as cleaning, demolition, flagging, and spotting. Responsibilities include organizing and disposing of materials, assisting with wall penetration, and building floors, walls, ceilings, and sublayers of cleanrooms in an outdoor environment. The job requires lifting up to 50 lbs and adherence to safety rules.
Responsibilities
- Perform labor work including site cleaning, demolition, and material disposal.
- Assist in the construction of structures such as floors, walls, and ceilings.
- Operate hand and power tools for basic construction tasks.
- Move and install heavy equipment and racking systems.
- Work collaboratively within a buddy system to ensure safety and efficiency.
Essential Skills
- Experience in construction, production, and general labor.
- Proficient use of hand and power tools, including demolition and assembly.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely.
- Comfortable working in varying outdoor environments and wearing a bunny suit.
- Familiarity with measuring tools like tape measures and levels.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience with rigging or using forklifts is advantageous.
- OSHA 10 training preferred, though training will be provided.
- Basic understanding of construction duties and safety protocols.
- Mandatory tools include claw hammer, vise grips, and assorted screwdrivers.

Work Environment
Work on the Intel Ocotillo campus, following a 60-60-50 schedule from Monday to Friday, starting at 5 am with openness to working Saturdays and handling 10-15 hours of overtime weekly. Embrace the buddy system for a safe and collaborative work culture. Be prepared to work both outdoors and in cleanroom settings, including wearing a bunny suit when necessary.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chandler, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
