Description

There are 3 different assembly positions. this one is for General assembler.

Machine Assembler (0)

Candidates need to be mechanically inclined, have knowledge and experience with hand and air powered tools and be able to read a tape measure.

MIG welding, plasma cutting and metal fabrication experience is a plus.

Willing to work overtime when needed.

Finish Machine Assembler (0)

Candidates need to be mechanically inclined, have knowledge and experience with hand and air powered tools and be able to read a tape measure.

Position involves some wiring, installation of engines, hydraulic components and hoses, decals and lights on painted machines.

Willing to work overtime when needed.

General Assembler (2)

Candidates need to be mechanically inclined, have knowledge and experience with hand and air powered tools and be able to read a tape measure.

Position involves the assembly of a wide range of parts needed for the assembly of the larger units.

Candidate could possibly be utilized as a machine operator for the Band Saw, Brake press, Plate Roller, Plasma Tables etc.

Job Title: General Assembler/Sander

Pay: $19 to $20

Location: East Mesa, AZ

Job Description

This position is for a General Assembler, responsible for assembling a wide range of parts necessary for the assembly of larger units.

Responsibilities

• Assemble various parts needed for larger units.
• Operate machinery such as Band Saw, Brake Press, and Plate Roller.
• Utilize hand and air-powered tools efficiently.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints and tape measures.
• Understand angles, tooling, and cutting relevant to construction trades.
• Potential to perform machine operating tasks.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical inclination with experience in hand and air-powered tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure and engineering blueprints.
• Basic understanding of fabrication, MIG welding, and plasma cutting.
• 6+ months of assembly experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly preferred.
• Knowledge of press brakes, shears, and basic CNC operations is advantageous.
• Familiarity with wiring, installation of engines, and hydraulic components.

Work Environment

Work within a large manufacturing environment that includes both indoor and outdoor spaces. Most areas are not air-conditioned. Expect a work schedule of 10-hour days, Monday through Friday, with potential shifts from 6am-2:30pm or 5am-4/5pm. Steel-toe shoes, pants or work jeans, and a t-shirt are required attire.
