Job Title: Electrician
Job Description

The Electrician is responsible for independently performing commercial and industrial electrical work, including installations, troubleshooting, conduit bending, and terminations. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read electrical prints, and the skill to work with minimal supervision. This position offers competitive pay and potential growth into a lead role.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical installations in commercial and/or industrial settings.
  • Bend and install EMT conduit, including offsets, 90s, and kicks.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Make electrical terminations and pull wire efficiently and accurately.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and resolve issues independently.
  • Work with panels, disconnects, and control cabinets.
  • Install and maintain motors, lighting systems, and power distribution.
  • Follow electrical safety standards, including PPE and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Complete work with a high level of precision and attention to detail.
  • Provide work instructions to, and oversight of, Electrical Apprentice work.
Essential Skills
  • 4+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience (target range: up to 8–9 years of experience).
  • Proven experience bending EMT conduit.
  • Strong understanding of electrical terminations and wire pulling.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Solid math skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with electrical safety practices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • HVAC controls experience.
  • Prior lead or supervisory experience.

Work Environment

Work primarily in commercial buildings, factories, and industrial facilities, focusing on indoor tasks that are technical and detail-oriented. The schedule is Monday to Thursday from 6am to 4:30pm, with optional overtime on Fridays. The environment requires lifting and/or moving up to 35 pounds, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching as needed. Climbing portable ladders and using Personal Protection Equipment are required. Good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination are necessary.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
