Job Title: Production Operator

Job Description

Join our team as a Production Operator in a dynamic manufacturing environment, where you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality fiber used to make netting, ropes, and laces. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency, and contributing to product quality.

2nd shift:12:00PM - 10:30PM M- Th

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, adjust, and clean all equipment required to produce products in accordance with work instructions.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Take samples and determine properties of produced intermediate and finished products.
• Prepare samples for offline quality checks.
• Supply and maintain inventory of components and supplies as needed.
• Refer issues or problems to the Production Lead or Production/Shift Supervisor for resolution.
• Document completed work as required, including logs, data reports, and procedures.

Essential Skills

• Knowledge of GMP and quality control procedures.
• Experience in shipping and receiving.
• Proficiency in machine operation and production processes.
• Understanding of safety procedures and changeovers.
• Ability to perform mathematical computations and problem-solving.
• Effective oral and written communication skills in English.
• Basic computer skills, including Word and Access.

Work Environment

The work environment involves exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, dust, fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level can be loud. This position requires physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day. Employees must frequently lift and move items over 50 pounds and be able to lift, push, or pull up to 200 lbs. with the aid of equipment. The role requires standing or walking for a 10-hour shift.

This is a Contract position based out of Mesa, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
