Job Title: Assembler
Monday- Thursday 6am -4:30pm
Job Description
The role of an Assembler involves executing complex assembly tasks, interpreting detailed blueprints, and performing advanced troubleshooting to ensure product functionality. You will also mentor junior assemblers, enforce safety standards, and collaborate with various departments to enhance manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Execute complex assembly tasks, including advanced mechanical assembly of components and subassemblies.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and specifications for correct assembly.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve issues in assembly processes.
- Coach and train lower-level assemblers in techniques, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to all safety and regulatory compliance standards.
- Continuously review and recommend improvements to assembly processes for efficiency and waste reduction.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other departments to resolve design or manufacturing issues.
- Perform final quality inspections and testing to ensure products meet company standards.
- Maintain inventory of parts and materials required for assembly.
- Assist with the setup, calibration, and operation of automated or semi-automated equipment.
- Follow lean manufacturing guidelines and provide continuous improvement suggestions.
Essential Skills
- At least 2–5 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing roles with leadership experience.
- Expertise in reading and interpreting complex technical documents, including engineering drawings and schematics.
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to train and mentor junior team members.
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes and manufacturing best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines without compromising quality.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in mechanical assembly of small and larger parts.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to use schematics to assemble parts consistently with a low error rate.

The work schedule is from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday, with occasional requirements to work on Fridays or weekends. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
