Assembler – Large Component Handling

We are looking for an experienced Assembler to join our team in Mesa 2. This role involves complex mechanical assembly of large components and subassemblies, requiring precision, safety, and leadership skills. If you have experience handling oversized parts and mentoring others, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Execute advanced assembly tasks, including large component assembly.
• Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve assembly issues.
• Train and mentor junior assemblers on techniques, safety, and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
• Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with engineers and other departments to resolve design/manufacturing issues.
• Conduct final quality inspections and testing.
• Maintain inventory of parts and materials.
• Assist with setup and operation of automated/semi-automated equipment.
• Follow lean manufacturing principles and suggest improvements.

Schedule:

• Mon–Thurs, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (No Fridays)
• Occasional overtime on Fridays/weekends

Skills & Qualifications:

• 2–5+ years of assembly or manufacturing experience, including leadership or team supervision.
• Expertise in reading and interpreting complex technical documents.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to train and mentor junior team members.
• Strong knowledge of quality control and manufacturing best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to handle large, heavy components safely.

Pay Rate:

• $20/hr for 2+ years of experience
• $23/hr for 4–5+ years of experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
