Production Electrician Opportunity

Job Description

  • Responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems for large commercial equipment.
  • Perform complex troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical systems, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Ensure electrical work is completed according to blueprints, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Oversee and maintain inventory of electrical materials and tools, ensuring stock levels and availability.
  • Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols for electrical work.
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical installation and repair.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices.

Essential Skills

  • Journeyman electrician skills.
  • Proficiency in bending conduit and working with low voltage systems (20 WAT and 10 WAT).
  • Experience with control panels and terminations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC equipment.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in electrical systems is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical installation and repair.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.

Work Environment

This role requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch, and climb portable ladders. Use of Personal Protection Equipment is mandatory. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, 6 AM to 4:30 PM, with no work on Fridays unless overtime is desired. The facility is equipped with industry 4.0 technology, promoting a collaborative and innovative work culture.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
