Job Title: ArchitectJob Description

Join a national architectural design firm dedicated to creating inspiring architecture for retail, commercial, and multi-family needs. We focus on a team-based approach, ensuring every client feels part of one cohesive team. If you have commercial or grocery/retail experience, especially within urban markets, possess strong collaborative communication skills, and are eager to contribute to design, coordination, and the production of construction documents throughout the project lifecycle, we want to connect with you.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate materials, building products, constructability, and processes.
  • Produce detailed construction documents for projects.
  • Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Refrigeration, and Structural disciplines.
  • Develop and assist in client and peer presentations.
  • Attend project and studio meetings.
  • Build, develop, and maintain client relations.
  • Assist in problem-solving of production issues.
  • Ensure the success of projects.
  • Review architectural designs, production documents, and construction change directives.
  • Conduct site scopes, observation trips, and generate field reports.
Essential Skills
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience mentoring others.
  • Professional accredited degree in Architecture preferred.
  • Licensure required.
  • Desire to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex architectural issues.
  • Creative and critical thinking skills.
  • Graphical communication skills for concepts and ideas.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Desire to mentor and teach emerging professionals.
Work Environment

This position is based in the Phoenix office. The firm is employee-owned, promoting a collaborative and supportive work culture. We offer licensure support through study materials and reimbursements, along with internal training seminars including multiple lunch and learn sessions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $80.00/hr.
