Recruiter – Supply Chain (Contract)
Location: Remote (Denver, CO or Phoenix, AZ)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM (Local Time)
Contract Role
Overview
We are seeking a motivated, high‑volume Recruiter to support full‑cycle hiring for three Supply Chain Centers across California, Hawaii, and Alaska. This role focuses heavily on managing inbound applicants, conducting phone screens, scheduling on‑site interviews, and partnering with hiring managers to ensure a smooth, efficient hiring process. This is a fast‑paced environment that requires strong communication skills, follow‑through, and the ability to work independently with limited resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried roles across multiple supply chain locations.
- Review and source candidates from incoming and historical applications within the ATS; perform talent pool refreshes and database searches.
- Conduct candidate phone screens and directly schedule on‑site interviews—most hiring managers do not require pre-screens.
- Partner closely with Supply Chain leadership, attending bi‑weekly meetings to discuss openings, hiring progress, and staffing needs.
- Utilize Indeed and internal postings for sourcing; hiring fairs are not required for this contract role.
- Collaborate with internal partners for additional sourcing support when needed.
- Recruit for high‑volume operational roles, including Production, Warehouse Associates, Maintenance Technicians, and CDL‑E Drivers (role-specific requirements provided for phone screens and road test coordination).
- Communicate proactively with managers—asking clarifying questions when candidates are declined to improve ongoing recruiting quality.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of high-volume recruiting experience, preferably supporting hourly or operational roles.
- Not seeking candidates exclusively from large tech companies (e.g., Meta, Google, Salesforce).
- Experience recruiting hourly roles or retail/operations management positions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with limited resources.
- Hands-on experience using ATS systems.
- Ability to source and review resumes via Indeed and internal job postings.
- Strong communication skills with confidence to engage candidates and challenge hiring managers constructively when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting CDL‑E drivers.
- Prior agency recruiting experience.
Employee Value Proposition (EVP)
- 100% remote role based out of Denver, CO or Phoenix, AZ.
- Consistent daytime schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–4 PM.
- No travel required; return‑to‑office policies apply only to Ann Arbor headquarters or leadership roles.
- Supportive team environment with additional sourcing help available.
- Independence and ownership within the supply chain recruiting function.
Work Environment & Requirements
- Must have a dedicated, private home office space with minimal distractions.
- No specific internet speed requirement.
- Work aligns with the employee’s local time zone.
