Fuel and Lube Tech - Heavy Equipment

Weinberger Waste Disposal is looking for a safety conscience 2nd Shift Fuel and Lube Tech working on Heavy Equipment to join our GROWING team in Phoenix, AZ.

Shift: Monday through Friday 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm, Saturday 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

$25.00 per hour

2nd Shift Fuel and Lube Technician duties and responsibilities include:

Lube Technicians are the face of a vehicle servicing company, facilitating maintenance and repairs on vehicles for customers as they come into the shop. Their duties and responsibilities include:

• Draining the oil from a vehicle and replacing it to manufacturer specifications
• Topping off other fluids, including brake, power steering and windshield wiper fluid
• Inspecting the engine block and underbody for leaks and potential issues
• Checking tire pressure and filling tires with air as needed to manufacturer specifications
• Installing new car parts, such as air filters, oil filters, windshield wipers and batteries
• Lubricating moving parts as necessary, including those in the engine and wheel bearings and ensuring the engine is kept clean throughout servicing
• Diagnosing existing issues and consulting with lead mechanics on the team to address the vehicles' issues
• Creating detailed service reports for customers
