Job Title: Architectural Project Manager

Job Description

The Architectural Project Manager works under the direction of the Studio Director and coordinates all aspects of assigned projects both administratively and technically from the entitlement phase through construction administration. The role involves acting as the primary client liaison, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and with maximum client satisfaction.



Responsibilities
  • Manage projects during the entitlement, contract document, and construction phases.
  • Develop and manage work plans for each project, coordinating staffing needs with the Studio Director.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and coordinate tasks with the project team.
  • Consistently perform drawing reviews for conformance with codes and constructability standards.
  • Serve as the primary contact for communication with various AHJs, consultants, and clients.
  • Encourage collaboration between the Architectural Division and Design Build.
  • Mentor and train less experienced staff.
  • Develop positive relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Prepare and coordinate additional service requests.
  • Follow and enforce quality control procedures.
  • Promote core values of communication, collaboration, proactivity, and quality.

Essential Skills
  • 10+ years of experience in project management within industrial and commercial projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit, with the ability to assist designers.
  • Ability to lead others and be client-facing.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of architectural systems and construction methods.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local Life Safety and Energy codes.
  • Ability to solve constructability or code-related issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages of development.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Professional registration or pursuing registration within the next year.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam.
  • Highly articulate, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and confident in technical conversations.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a Monday to Thursday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, and Fridays from 8 AM to 3 PM, with 40-hour work weeks. There is one flexible work-from-home day available on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. This is a Permanent position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.
