Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Foreman proficient in TIG welding techniques for stainless steel. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols, along with knowledge of the metallurgical properties of stainless steel and related alloys. Familiarity with welding safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) is essential, as well as excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and manual dexterity. Candidates should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a TIG welder, preferably in stainless steel fabrication.
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel materials.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols accurately.
- Apply knowledge of metallurgical properties of stainless steel and related alloys.
- Adhere to welding safety protocols and use personal protective equipment effectively.
- Demonstrate excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail in welding tasks.
- Collaborate with team members or work independently as required.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in TIG welding techniques for stainless steel.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of metallurgical properties of stainless steel and related alloys.
- Familiarity with welding safety protocols and PPE.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a TIG welder.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with stainless steel MIG/Flux core welding is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes and equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in fabrication work.

Work Environment
- The role operates on the 1st shift from 5 am until close, requiring a minimum of 50 hours per week.
- Be prepared to work with PPE such as steel-toed boots and a hood. Familiarity with tools such as a square, two hold pins, level, and tape measure is necessary.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
