We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. Responsibilities
- Lead complex mechanical design projects and develop system solutions.
- Ensure engineering standards and quality benchmarks are met.
- Drive the development of cutting-edge mechanical systems from conceptualization through manufacturing.
- Manage projects from initial concept through delivery, ensuring designs meet performance, cost, and schedule requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, testing, and implementation.
Essential Skills
- 7+ years of experience in mechanical design, automation system development, and project management within a high-tech environment.
- Strong proficiency with CAD software, specifically SolidWorks, and familiarity with drafting standards such as GD&T.
- Hands-on experience with FEA tools and simulation software.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including manual and CNC machining, prototyping, and assembly techniques.
- Analytical skills for root cause analysis and strong project scheduling capabilities to meet deadlines efficiently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with electrical schematics and control systems involving PLCs and Robotics is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles combined with practical application skills across diverse projects.
- Experience with industry codes and standards to ensure compliance in design and manufacturing practices.

This position is based in a manufacturing environment and may require occasional travel (10%). You will be joining a family-like company that offers growth opportunities. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
