This role involves overseeing a skilled team of Technicians responsible for our control systems. The position demands providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. You will apply your extensive knowledge in HVAC systems, control devices, computer operations, electronics, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, direct digital controls, airflow, hydronic systems, IT networking, analytics, and building controls technologies.
Responsibilities- Oversee and manage the Technician workforce for control systems.
- Ensure top-tier customer service for all internal and external customers.
- Utilize knowledge of HVAC systems and related technologies in daily operations.
- Conduct field coordination, labor scheduling, and subcontractor oversight.
- Troubleshoot and guide technicians and engineers in HVAC control systems design, installation, and commissioning.
- Manage and develop teams of 5–10 Controls Technicians and/or Controls Application Engineers.
- Conduct performance reviews and monthly one-on-one meetings with team members.
- Coordinate multiple concurrent construction projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget.
- Maintain customer satisfaction scores or repeat-business metrics.
- Create and maintain labor plans, capacity forecasts, and resource allocation schedules.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience managing HVAC construction or controls projects.
- Expertise in HVAC controls systems design, installation, and commissioning.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams of technicians and engineers.
- Documented success in project coordination and customer satisfaction.
- Experience in labor planning, capacity forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Familiarity with Siemens technologies.
- Strong management and construction skills.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tucson, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
