As a Packaging Technician, you will operate packaging machinery, perform quality checks, and document production activities. You will work in a warm to hot environment and be responsible for the entire production line you are assigned to. Training will be provided by an experienced machine operator, and you will gain expertise in using pallet jacks and other machinery.
Responsibilities- Operate and maintain the packaging machine efficiently.
- Conduct quality checks on boxes and packaging.
- Maintain cleanliness in the designated work area, adhering to GMP standards.
- Adjust packaging to accommodate various box types and sizes.
- Document productivity, completion, and order details.
- At least one year of machine operating experience in an industrial setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs periodically.
- Basic troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with GMPs and HACCP standards.
- Experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred.
- Experience with warehouse machinery like case packers, wrapping machines, and sealing machines is advantageous.

Work EnvironmentWork in a warm to hot environment on the 3rd shift from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday. The role requires operating various machinery and involves physical activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of American Canyon, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
