Your New Role...
We are looking to for a strong Coordinator that will support the Head of Content, the VP of Production
and act as a collaborative member of the Discovery Channel content team. This role will oversee
administrative functions in addition to managing logistical and creative projects as part of the
production and development teams.
Your Role Accountabilities...
• Manage all administrative tasks for the Head of Content & VP of Production which include:
calendaring, tracking calls, travel arrangements and expenses.
• Organize and manage all Content Team meetings, both internally and externally. This includes
preparing materials for meeting including production reports, creative decks, etc.
• Assist Content Team members with various creative needs such as brainstorming new ideas for
existing shows, new series titles, crafting loglines, department presentations, and deck
creation.
Qualifications and Experience...
• Excellent deck creation skills, using Powerpoint and/or Canva and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Suite, especially Word and Excel.
• Video editing skills a plus.
• 2+ years of experience within the entertainment industry preferred.
• A successful candidate will be a self-started who is resourceful, proactive, flexible and can handle
multi-tasking with strong verbal and written skills.
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment while interfacing
with many executives within the company in addition to producers, talents, agents, and other
executives within the industry.
• Intense curiosity and drive to learn more about this industry. Ideal candidate will love
storytelling, film & television as a whole, and specifically unscripted television.
Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Warner Bros. Discovery through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Warner Bros. Discovery.
