What We Do/Project
The Technical Principal Product Manager (PPM) is a senior-level role responsible for setting the strategic vision, technical roadmap, and execution for a major product or a product portfolio. This role requires a deep technical expertise and business acumen to guide product strategy, influence cross-functional teams (especially engineering), and communicate with executive leadership.
Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role
Strategic Leadership
• Define and champion a multi-year product vision and roadmap aligned with company goals.
• Engage with stakeholders to identify market problems and shape high-level solutions.
• Drive alignment across diverse teams and act as the primary communication hub.
Technical & Analytical Excellence
• Provide technical oversight on architecture, APIs, and system trade-offs to ensure scalability and security.
• Use data-driven decision-making: define KPIs, track performance, and guide product evolution.
• Translate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable specifications.
People & Standards
• Mentor product managers and raise the bar for technical and product excellence.
• Establish and uphold best practices and standards across teams.
• Foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
Must Have Skills / Requirements
1) Ability to effectively collaborate across design and engineering teams
a. 8+ years of experience; Proven experience bridging the gap between the design team, engineering team, and the key stakeholders.
2) Mastery of Agile/Scrum, and proven experience developing products using that methodology
a. 10+ years of experience; Proven experience driving a product-oriented delivery team (POD) through Scrum ceremonies.
3) Must be able to understand design principles to help design and implement products that are user-friendly.
a. 10+ years of experience; Prior experience with product-oriented user-centric roles. Ability to articulate turning user journeys and design deliverables into viable products.
Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements
1) None.
Soft Skills:
1) Proven track record of delivering complex technology products in an agile environment.
2) Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
3) Ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
4) Experience working with End Users to drive epics and user stories
Technology Requirements:
1) Experience with cloud-based platforms, APIs, and enterprise systems.
Education / Certifications
1) Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.

2) 2nd round with Peer Product Owner
