Medical Device Assemblers – 2nd Shifts
Pay: $21–$24/hr
Shift 2nd, and 3rd shift (Coming Soon)
Location: Carlsbad, CA
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assembly of catheter components under a microscope with a high level of accuracy.
- Follow SOPs, Work Instructions, Line Clearance procedures, and all product handling guidelines.
- Comply with Good Documentation Practices (GDP), current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and all safety requirements.
- Complete production training, including understanding travelers/routers and material identification.
- Operate production tools and equipment, complete required documentation, and perform equipment setup and basic troubleshooting.
- Conduct in‑process inspections to verify product quality and integrity.
- Work closely with Engineers and Supervisors to support product quality, continuous improvement, and process documentation.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with other production tasks as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1–3 years of regulated manufacturing experience (medical device preferred).
- Hands‑on experience in production, prototyping, or assembly environments.
- Prior experience with microscope work and medical device assembly strongly preferred.
- Experience working in a cleanroom setting.
- Ability to perform detailed in‑process inspections on medical device components.
- Familiarity with lab safety equipment and cleanroom protocols
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
