NOW Hiring : Medical Device Assembler
- Location: Carlsbad, Shift: 2nd Shift AND 3rd Shift
Job Description
We are looking for a Detail‑oriented Medical Device Production Technician to support the manufacturing of high‑quality medical products, including catheter components assembled under a microscope. In this role, you will follow strict procedures, work closely with engineers, and help ensure every device meets quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, production drawings, Good Documentation Practices, and all safety requirements.
- Complete training for production tasks, including material identification, microscope work, and inspection tool usage.
- Set up and operate production equipment while performing in‑process inspections.
- Document work accurately and completely.
- Collaborate with Engineers and Supervisors to maintain product quality and resolve issues.
- Assist with process documentation development.
- Perform inventory counts as needed.
- Handle additional duties as requested.
Essential Skills
- Experience in small‑component assembly and inspection.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and SOP compliance.
- Hands‑on experience with microscope assembly and catheter assembly.
- Knowledge of line clearance procedures and adhesives such as Loctite.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
2nd shift (2:30 pm–10:30 pm).

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
