Job Overview

Hubbell is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to support in managing and overseeing the shipping operations of the Chatsworth Facility. The coordinator ensures that goods are shipped efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with company policies and safety regulations. The incumbent will work with the Planning and Production teams to gather necessary information to schedule shipments and process transactions in SAP EWM system. Pay will range from $57000 - $62000 annually. Benefits will begin the first of the month following hire date.

A Day In The Life
  • Schedule shipments and ensure that products are shipped on time and in excellent condition.
  • Coordinate the loading of trucks, setting up delivery routes, and unloading of material.
  • Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
  • Prepare shipping documents, like invoices, purchase orders, and bills of lading.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as legal regulations and safety standards.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to shipping or transportation.
  • Prepare regular reports on shipping activities, inventory levels, and transportation costs for upper management.
  • Utilize SAP EWM software for managing shipments and tracking inventory.
