Job Description

This position supports the production floor by ensuring items and tools are readily accessible and involves generating SKUs, inspecting daily deliveries, and assisting with inventory organization.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the ERP system to manage and organize inventory effectively.
• Ensure the production floor has adequate access to necessary items and tools.
• Generate SKUs based on barcodes for accurate tracking.
• Inspect daily deliveries and prepare inspection reports on purchase orders.
• Support the team with cleanup and staging of inventory.
• Stage and facilitate production team activities.
• Perform inbound logistics work primarily.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Experience with logistics and inventory management.
• Ability to inspect and report on daily deliveries and purchase orders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Willingness to work in a heavy manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

The work environment is set in a startup atmosphere with a focus on producing nuclear reactor components. The facility offers training and certification on sit-down forklifts. The standard working hours are from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of overtime and weekend work. The manufacturing environment is robust and requires adherence to safety protocols.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Compton, CA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
