Job Description

We are seeking diligent Cycle Counters to join a large defense company located in Santa Ana/Costa Mesa, CA. This position operates on a day shift from 7am to 5pm and includes a significant amount of overtime. The primary responsibility is to conduct cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records and support warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts according to established schedules.
• Reconcile physical inventory counts with system inventory records.
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies, including transaction errors and process issues.
• Document count results and adjustments accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicate variances and trends to Inventory Control and Warehouse leadership.
• Assist with year‑end or full physical inventory counts as required.
• Verify product locations, quantities, lot numbers, and serial numbers as applicable.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and warehouse processes.
• Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in material handling, cycle counting, and inventory management.
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically NetSuite.
• Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Effective communication skills to report variances and trends.

Work Environment

The position is based in a clean, expansive environment within a large, growing company that has recently secured funding to build a new facility.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Costa Mesa, CA.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
