What You’ll Do

• Lead and support the design of water and wastewater treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, and distribution systems
• Prepare engineering reports, technical memoranda, construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, electrical, HVAC, and controls engineers
• Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling
• Conduct site visits to ensure design alignment with field conditions and client expectations
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with drafters and technicians
• Engage in proposal development and support client presentations
• Apply hydraulic modeling and design software to optimize system performance

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• 6–12 years of experience in water/wastewater infrastructure projects
• PE license in California or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Strong understanding of treatment processes, hydraulic modeling, and utility permitting
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work on time and within budget
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design tools
