Join a nationally recognized engineering team as a Water/Wastewater Engineer, where you’ll play a key role in the planning, design, and construction of municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities. What You’ll Do
- Lead and support the design of water and wastewater treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, and distribution systems
- Prepare engineering reports, technical memoranda, construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, electrical, HVAC, and controls engineers
- Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling
- Conduct site visits to ensure design alignment with field conditions and client expectations
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with drafters and technicians
- Engage in proposal development and support client presentations
- Apply hydraulic modeling and design software to optimize system performance
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- 6–12 years of experience in water/wastewater infrastructure projects
- PE license in California or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Strong understanding of treatment processes, hydraulic modeling, and utility permitting
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work on time and within budget
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design tools
