Job Title: DISC Assembler
Job Description
Join a dynamic team where you'll work on an assembly line to produce high-quality plastic discs. This role involves using your hands or small tools to snap pieces together, operating machines to apply foil, laminate, and add labels and barcodes, and performing visual inspections at various points along the assembly process.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical assembly of discs using hands and simple tools.
- Conduct visual inspections of products at multiple stages.
- Create and apply labels for the DISC devices.
- Operate instruments to laminate and seal products.
- Adhere to aseptic gowning protocols and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in a cleanroom environment.
Essential Skills
- Experience in visual inspection of in-process materials.
- Proficiency in operating various manufacturing equipment.
- Strict adherence to SOPs.
- Ability to gown aseptically (training provided).
- Accurate documentation of activities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in high-volume production, such as assembly, machine operating, or packaging.
- Ability to stand for the majority of the shift.
- High school diploma required.
- Cleanroom experience preferred but not required.
- Experience in medical device assembly or packaging is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with FDA, GDP, and GMP environments is beneficial.
- Comfortable with repetitive and detail-oriented work.

Work Environment
Work in a cleanroom environment, wearing protective gear such as coveralls, booties, gloves, hair nets, safety glasses, and face masks. Collaborate closely with team members, maintaining a distance of about 3 feet on the assembly line, with occasional interactions at closer proximity.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Cypress, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
