Job Description

No prior experience is necessary for this position, making it ideal for individuals with skills in carpet cleaning, construction, lawn care, pest control, and general labor. A valid driver's license is required, and candidates must be comfortable wearing a respirator. Opportunities for growth within the Water Restoration department are available.

Responsibilities

• Remove water from structures using specialized equipment as part of a crew.
• Remove damaged furniture, flooring, and wall board.
• Collect monetary payment and proceed to the next service call.
• Perform extensive driving to customers in a timely and professional manner.
• Enter customers’ residences, providing trustworthy service while solving problems.
• Work long days involving hard labor.

Essential Skills

• Valid driver's license
• Comfortable wearing a respirator
• Experience in construction, general labor, landscaping, or demolition

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with hand tools, restoration, back-hoe, mini-excavator, skid steers, excavation machinery, wastewater, property damage, water treatment, and remediation
• Backflow certifications (support provided)
• OSHA 10 certification (support provided)
• CDL A certification (required eventually)

Work Environment

Work involves excavation in commercial and residential buildings, with 8-hour days and overtime paid at 1.5 times the average production for that week. Employees clock in as soon as they leave their home each morning.

This is a Permanent position based out of East Palo Alto, CA.

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $200000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in East Palo Alto,CA.
