Job Title: Machine Shop Helper
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Machine Shop Helper, where you will be involved in machining and set-up on 5-Axis Mills. You will perform preventative maintenance tasks, minor equipment repairs, and manage restocking and inventory tasks across the machine shop. Additionally, you will operate basic hand tools and develop foundational knowledge of shop equipment and systems. As your training progresses, you will support post-print operations including vacuuming powder, removing finished parts from the system, and cleaning parts. You will work with manufacturing tools such as lathes, mills, bandsaws, grinders, precision drills, and wire EDMs.
Responsibilities
- Perform machining and set-up on 5-Axis Mills.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks and minor equipment repairs.
- Manage restocking and inventory within the machine shop.
- Operate basic hand tools and develop a foundational understanding of shop equipment and systems.
- Support post-print operations such as vacuuming powder, removing finished parts, and cleaning parts.
- Work with manufacturing tools including lathes, mills, bandsaws, grinders, precision drills, and wire EDMs.
Essential Skills
- Experience with grinding and sanding.
- Ability to perform machine set-up and deburring tasks.
- Experience operating a forklift and crane.
- Experience with warehouse inventory management.

- NTMA Graduate.
- Interest in pursuing a career in machining.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of El Segundo, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.34/hr.
