The position involves operating one or multiple pieces of manufacturing equipment, handling raw materials, and engaging in activities such as filling, capping, sealing, labeling, or packaging products. Responsibilities also include removing damaged products or supplies as needed, managing production, package, and flavor changeovers, and maintaining required product inspection processes. The role involves basic troubleshooting and minor repairs to ensure production equipment operates efficiently.
Responsibilities- Operate and monitor production line(s) to ensure efficiency.
- Remove or shift materials and/or finished products to facilitate proper flow.
- Ensure package and product quality.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Operate all manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely, including new technologies.
- Clean equipment and the area before, during, and after shifts.
- Maintain a clean work area through good housekeeping practices.
- Expedite repairs to the line, working with maintenance as necessary.
- Keep daily records of downtime and machine operations.
- Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
- Experience with high-speed production lines.
- Experience with pallets, including operating a forklift and stacking/bundling product.
- Experience operating a packing machine and filler machine.
- Experience operating a palletizer.
- Ability to read blueprints and schedules.
- Experience with computers in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience with sanitization and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Experience with minor mechanical repairs.
- Experience with preventative maintenance.
- Mechanically inclined with knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with machine safety, repair, and maintenance.
- Experience in general labor, warehouse production, picking, material handling, unloading, shipping and receiving, and loading.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and machine operation.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a clean production setting that requires lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling cases weighing 20-45 pounds repeatedly over long periods. Most of the shift involves walking or standing, with some stooping, crawling, and crouching under conveyors. Be prepared to work weekends and/or holidays. Early morning shifts start between 4am-7am, typically at 6am.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Folsom, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
