Job Title: Entry level Assembler - 3rd Shift

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Assembler on the 3rd Shift, working Monday through Friday with mandatory overtime. You will be part of a team responsible for assembling and inspecting sunglasses, ensuring each pair meets quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Screw, glue, and fasten individual pieces of sunglasses together, preparing them for lens installation and quality auditing.
  • Install lenses into frames and glue icons onto frames.
  • Use small tools to insert screws or pins to secure frames.
  • Mix paint for the pad printer and resolve malfunctions.
  • Sand and buff the gate/burr off the center frame.
  • Send completed assemblies to the Quality Auditor for final inspection.
  • Set up workstations at the start of the shift, with the possibility of building different models each day.
  • Adapt to changes in specific job duties or assembly departments.
  • Stand and walk throughout the shift, with comfortable shoes and insoles recommended.
  • Work with small hand tools and power tools as needed.
  • Rotate job duties within the shift to limit repetitive movements.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to stand for 8-10+ hours a day.
  • Good attendance record with a 'three strikes' mentality.
  • No prior experience required, but it is beneficial.
  • Pass DT & BK requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in mechanical assembly, general labor, or packaging is helpful.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, production, and blueprint reading.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Foothill Ranch, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.97 - $19.97/hr.
