Electronic Technician 1 (FIT) "W-TRS" Fort Irwin, CA N.T.C.

This is an hourly CBA Role: Effective rate of pay between July 1 2024 and July 1 2025 will be $37.51/hour

Job Summary:

*Assists in the performance of all actions associated with the installation, deinstallation and troubleshooting of MILES hardware used for the instrumentation of vehicles and man worn MILES.

*Responsibilities include providing RTU installation support during pre-rotation MILES install operations and working as part of a contact team once the unit is down range to ensure MILES hardware is functioning properly.

*De-installation of MILES hardware one rotational training is complete.

*Perform scheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance on TADSS and GFP, following technical manuals, preventive maintenance checklists, or industry best practices when no checklist is available.

*Ensures maintenance tasks do not conflict with training, exercises, and testing.

*Records all maintenance activities in real-time in InSITE (Maximo). Adheres to warranty terms for maintained items, tracking them by part number, serial number, and location. Installs modifications or upgrade kits as per manufacturer's instructions.
