Job Title: Staff Power Electronics Engineer

Job Description

As a Staff Power Electronics Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and optimization of power electronics systems for innovative energy conversion products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of sustainable energy solutions while collaborating with a world-class team of engineers and researchers.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop power electronics systems for energy conversion products.
  • Collaborate with engineers and researchers to optimize power electronics designs.
  • Deliver high-performance power electronics systems from concept to mass production.
  • Utilize capture and PCB layout tools, particularly Altium Designer, for electrical system design.
  • Engage in prototyping, validation, and compliance testing including thermal, EMI/EMC, and reliability.

Essential Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in power electronics design and development for mass production.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor devices, magnetic components, and control theory.
  • Proven experience in power conversion, system architecture, and power electronics.
  • Hands-on experience with prototyping and compliance testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and functions.
  • Experience in the renewable energy and solar sectors is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Fremont, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $200000.00 - $220000.00/yr.

PTO Holiday 401k sick pay

Workplace Type

This is a hybrid position in Fremont,CA.
