Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist where you will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient operations by handling the receipt and distribution of goods.

Responsibilities

• Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
• Maintain records of received goods and reject unsatisfactory items.
• Utilize computers for data entry and manage Excel sheets.
• Maintain records of merchandise shipped.
• Examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and on the manufacturing line.
• Prepare kitting packages or conduct inventory counts as needed.
• Complete the put-away function of received goods.
• Label products according to customer CPD requirements.
• Operate a forklift upon re-certification if required.
• Perform any other assigned tasks.

Essential Skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to regularly lift, push, and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for a prolonged period.
• Proficiency in data entry and Excel.
• Experience in inventory management and cycle counts.
• Ability to effectively work within a team environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written directions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Open to entry-level candidates.
• Computer savvy.
• Experience with forklift, shipping & receiving, material handling, and pallet jack.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, CA.

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $23.00/hr.
