We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder with expertise in using various welding machines, including hand welding, TIG, and orbital welding machines, specifically for stainless steel and other high purity materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of blueprint drawings in both inch and metric units, as well as related mechanics and MRP concepts. Excellent visual acuity, manual dexterity, and communication skills are essential for this role.
Responsibilities- Perform mechanical set-ups and change-overs for all welding operations.
- Process and inspect first pieces in accordance with engineering prints.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Measure and verify dimensions using inspection tools.
- Complete routing and process planning as necessary.
- Collaborate with engineering to develop advanced welding processes.
- Consistently maintain performance levels set for quality and quantity.
- Use all approved hand gauges to inspect component quality at the work center.
- Work as a team member to uphold and maintain departmental standards, including quality and on-time delivery goals.
- Proficiency in TIG welding and welding stainless steel.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprint and schematic drawings.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic PC skills for manufacturing.
- Experience working in high-purity clean room environments.
- Understanding of the UHP industry.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to quality with a customer-focused mindset.
- Certification in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing preferred.
- Successful completion of a 2-year professional trade program in Welding Technology or equivalent, or currently enrolled in such a program.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
