As a 2nd shift Quality Engineering Technician on our battery assembly line, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our battery modules meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying that our products comply with industry standards and specifications. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Inspect and test battery modules to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Verify product quality through detailed inspections and testing procedures.
- Utilize test equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and multimeters.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Conduct root cause analysis to determine sources of defects and implement effective solutions.
- Experience in quality control or quality assurance in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive or battery industry.
- Proficiency in using inspection and testing equipment like calipers, micrometers, and multimeters.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Familiarity with quality test and inspection procedures.
- Experience with data analysis related to quality control.
- Knowledge of electronics and quality assurance practices.
This position is part of the 2nd shift team on our battery assembly line. The role involves working with various testing and inspection tools in a manufacturing environment. A commitment to safety standards and continuous quality improvement is essential.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garden Grove, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
