Job Opportunity: Healthcare Customer Service Representative
Location: onsite in Glendale, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday 8am-5pm + Saturdays 8am-12pm (First 2 Months) - any hours worked over 40 hours will be considered OT!
About the Role
We are seeking 10 dynamic and detail-oriented Healthcare Customer Service Representatives to support a high-impact initiative at our client's Campus Support Center in Glendale, CA. This is a project based assignment designed to bolster their team of 8 full-time employees during a critical project phase. As a Consultant, you will play a vital role in patient outreach and care coordination, helping to improve health outcomes and streamline services. This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your communication skills and healthcare knowledge will make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to patients for:
- Pharmacy refill confirmations
- Annual wellness visit scheduling
- Emergency Room (ER) outreach for frequent visitors
- New authorization follow-ups
- Support additional projects as assigned by leadership
- Maintain accurate records and data entry in Excel and internal systems
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless patient support
Required Skills & Experience
- Customer Service in a healthcare or call center environment
- Experience with care coordination/patient communication, insurance & benefit verification, and prior authorization processing
- Experience with project coordination or management is a plus
- Data Entry with high accuracy
- Excel Proficiency: Must be able to hide, copy, paste, and filter data
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare workflows

- The ideal candidate will have experience in a Patient Service Representative, Healthcare Administrative, or Healthcare Call Center role
- Ability to work Monday-Saturday the first two months.
- No time off within the first 90 days of employment (strict attendance policies)
- Disqualifier(s): someone who does not like being on the phone
