Job Title: HR Coordinator
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Human Resources Coordinator to support and manage key HR functions, including payroll, benefits, employee relations, compliance, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient in ADP Workforce Now, knowledgeable in California labor law, and capable of collaborating across departments, including with our Mexico facility. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records and supporting compliance initiatives.
- Process timely and accurate payroll using ADP Workforce Now.
- Manage employee benefits programs and assist with open enrollment.
- Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes in line with company policies.
- Address employee inquiries and concerns regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures in both English and Spanish.
- Maintain HR documents, policies, forms, and the employee handbook.
- Serve as the site’s safety coordinator, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and reporting.
- Support HR-related communications and initiatives for our Mexico facility.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 2 years of HR experience, including payroll and benefits administration.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now is required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
- Strong knowledge of California labor law.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionally.
Work Environment
This position is on-site in Harbor City.
