Job Title: Automation TechnicianJob Description

As an Automation Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of cutting-edge machinery in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Your expertise with Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) will be pivotal in diagnosing and resolving technical issues, enabling the efficient production of high-quality products.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize your experience with HMI Machines to monitor and control industrial machinery and processes.
  • Interpret and read electrical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Replace or calibrate sensors and actuators to maintain optimal machine functionality.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical faults with precision.
  • Perform format selection, parameter adjustments, and alarm resets on machinery.
  • Identify and address machine stoppages to minimize downtime.
  • Safely troubleshoot and restart machinery after alarms or stops.
  • Record and report issues to maintenance or supplier support for timely resolution.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency with HMI Machines, including touchscreen interaction and data visualization.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Experience in replacing or calibrating sensors and actuators.
  • Competence in diagnosing electrical faults.
  • Familiarity with PLCs and machinery format selection, parameter adjustments, and alarm resets.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with PLC programming is a plus.
  • Ability to adjust camera settings on Omron devices is desirable.
  • Knowledge of pneumatics, regulators, valves, cylinders, and fittings.
  • Understanding of CE Standards and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

This is a Permanent position based out of Hawthorne, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.

Brand new facility and machines. Nobody has similar machines Experience with IMA machines https://ima.it/en/ - Italian highly automated pachines used in pharmaceuticals, pharmaceuticals and anything with thin film or thin paper Candidate from Huhtamaki

This is a fully onsite position in Hawthorne,CA.
