Position Summary
This role is responsible for maintaining master data and ensuring process control within ERP systems used for planning across the franchise. A key focus is on updating Bills of Material (BOMs) in response to quality assurance and engineering changes. This is an execution-focused position with no direct people management responsibilities, supporting the broader planning function.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a system expert for operational platforms such as JDE, AS400, and Master-Control.
- Provide training on materials procedures for new hires and updates to industry practices.
- Serve as the ERP subject matter expert and key contact for supply chain and inventory management system knowledge.
- Lead assigned projects related to systems and process improvements.
- Support system and procedural readiness for new product introductions.
- Assist in implementing engineering changes (ECOs), deviations, and component revisions.
- Configure, test, and troubleshoot ERP applications to meet evolving business requirements.
- Provide daily ERP support for both operational and divisional teams.
- Collaborate across departments to identify and implement productivity improvements.
- Support supply and materials planning teams by maintaining accurate ERP data fields, including lead times and engineering specifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing-related disciplines.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in planning or execution roles; recent graduates may also be considered.
- Experience with ERP systems, including data maintenance and configuration.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
