We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our team. The role involves setting up and testing electronic equipment, troubleshooting systems, and supporting various technical operations.
Responsibilities- Set up electronic equipment using instructions, production drawings, manufacturer specifications, service manuals, and other approved technical data.
- Perform extensive troubleshooting on electronic systems, assemblies, and circuits.
- Conduct functional and electrical checks and assist with installation of electronic assemblies, communication circuits, fixtures, and accessories.
- Replace or repair power connections and connect/disconnect electronic modules for functional testing.
- Support operational checkout, functional testing, and repairs at the major assembly or circuit board level for electronic, electro-mechanical, and computer-controlled systems.
- Operate support equipment required for performance and functional testing.
- Perform mechanical tasks related to installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance per customer procedures.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians across multiple specialties to perform hands-on technical operations.
- Apply knowledge of ICT or Flying Probe Test methodologies.
- Develop and write flying probe test procedures.
- 3–5 years of electronic test experience.
- Strong working knowledge of electronics and diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, meggers, and multimeters.
- Ability to read schematics and apply shop mathematics.
- Proficiency with tools and equipment required for electronic testing and repair.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred certifications: IPC A 610, IPC A 620, and/or J STD 001.
- Familiarity with ICT or Flying Probe Test methodologies.
- Experience with various testing tools, blueprint reading, hand tools, inspection, quality control, micrometers, oscilloscopes, and GD&T.

Work EnvironmentThis role operates within a very clean manufacturing setting. The standard hours are from 7am to 3:30pm, providing a consistent and structured work schedule.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
