Medical Device Assembler – Cleanroom

Job Description
- Join our team as a Cleanroom Assembly Technician and play a vital role in assembling catheters designed to prevent aneurysms.
- This position requires precision and attention to detail, as you will work with a microscope and small hand tools to assemble intricate components such as coiling wire and small tubing.
- Monday through Saturday, 5:00am start time.
- Currently they are hiring employees, and most will need to currently work 10 hours a day, 6 days a week. Average hours worked are 45 to 55 hours a week position.
Responsibilities
- Assemble small components of catheters using a microscope and small hand tools.
- Work predominantly in a cleanroom environment, adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
- Utilize tools and equipment such as coil, hot box, iron soldering, UV bonding, and measuring devices like rulers, VIS, snap gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
- Perform GDP reviews and manage work orders within an ERP system.
- Conduct cycle counts of inventory within the cleanroom.
Essential Skills
- Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods.
- Proficiency in using small hand tools and assembling intricate components.
- Experience in a cleanroom or lab setting, preferably within the medical device industry.
- Familiarity with tools and techniques including coil, hot box, iron soldering, UV bonding, and precision measuring equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Entry-level positions available with no prior experience required; training will be provided.
- Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of experience in medical devices, electronics, or related industries.
- Ability to work long hours and maintain good attendance and performance.

Work Environment
Work in a cleanroom environment requiring full gown attire. The manager fosters a supportive atmosphere, encouraging communication and good relationships among team members. Expect to work approximately 45 to 55 hours per week, with shifts typically spanning 10 hours a day, six days a week.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
