Grinder/shop Labor

Join our team as a Grinder/Shop Parts Specialist, where you will be responsible for precision measuring, grinding, and fabricating metal parts. This role involves working with various hand tools and machine operations to ensure high-quality production in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinding machines and hand tools to process metal parts.
• Measure materials accurately using tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.
• Perform deburring and general labor tasks as needed.
• Ensure precision in grinding forged metals and alloys.
• Engage in metal fabrication and forging activities.
• Maintain machine operations for smooth production processes.

• Experience with grinders and grinding processes.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and machine operations.
• Ability to measure materials with precision using tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.

• Experience in a forging environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication and production processes.

Work Environment

This position is based in a manufacturing setting with a 2nd shift starting at 2:30 pm. The role involves working with both hand and power tools, alongside machine operations, in a facility focused on high-quality metal production.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irwindale, CA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
